Getting here
Train, taxi, or car
Stanlake Park sits just outside Twyford, in Berkshire. It's easier to reach than it looks, and the nicest way in is by train.
By train
Twyford Station is the closest stop, on the Elizabeth line and the main Great Western route. About thirty minutes from London Paddington, or an hour or so from the City.
From the station it's a fifteen minute walk through the village, or a three minute taxi. There's usually a small rank out front; if not, any local firm will come within a few minutes.
By car
Around forty‑five minutes from central London via the M4, and twenty minutes from Reading. Parking on the estate is available but limited, so do share a car where you can.
Sat‑nav: RG10 0BN. Stanlake Park, Waltham Road, Twyford.
Late in the night
Taxis back to Twyford Station, or on to wherever you're staying, are best pre‑booked. We'll share a shortlist of local numbers closer to the day, and there'll be a few cards on the bar.
